Content from few partners like JioHotstar, ZEE5 can be played only on their platform, hence you are redirected outside the app to land on their platform to be able to play content. Redirection happens once you have taken a valid subscription plan for the Content.

For watching JioHotstar & ZEE5 content, you will need to download their partner app separately from ViMTV app. For content from the remaining 14+ OTT apps, there is no need to download individual partner apps. You can watch all content on Vi Movies & TV app itself, if you have a valid subscription on your Vi number.

When you click on third party content on our app, you will be able to play most of the content directly without going to any third party apps. You don’t have to enter credentials anywhere thus making your journey seamless! For content in any of the rails/carousels you can click on the content and find the option on the next screen. All the content that you add to watchlist/ bingelist will be available on the side menu

No, if customer tries to open ViMTV app/ ViMTV section within the Vi app internationally will see a blocker screen as ViMTV can be accessed only within India
