2011:

After the 2010 CSK vs MI final, the 2011 season was rather interesting, and it was mostly due to the fact that the Champions League Twenty20 was a thing back then. The MI vs CSK head to head happened only once this season:

2014:

Another election year, another international IPL! A considerable share of the matches were played in the UAE, and while KKR went on to win the tournament, MI vs CSK head to head total matches were 3 as well. Here’s a breakdown:

Due to a string of unfortunate events, there were no Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings standings for the 2016 and 2017 seasons as CSK got suspended due to a spot-fixing scandal, so let’s fast forward to 2018.

The turn of the decade saw the emergence of the pandemic, and as a precautionary measure, the IPL travelled to the UAE once again and was played in a safe bubble.
