Troubleshooting for International Roaming

Check if your International Roaming service or pack has been activated. If not activate now, Activate international roaming

If already active and still facing network issue while travelling abroad, please disable Wi-Fi on your handset and follow the below troubleshooting steps:

iOS

1.  Settings > Mobile Data/Cellular Data > Data Roaming > Turn on Data Roaming

2. Change the Network mode to 2G/3G/4G, i.e. Turn off VOLTE Settings > Mobile Data/Cellular Data > Voice & Data > Turn off VOLTE 

3. Settings >Mobile Data/Cellular Data > SIM APPLICATIONS > Click on Roaming > Click on International Roaming & Click OK or                  ACCEPT on prompt

Note: Proceed with next step if “Roaming” option under SIM Applications menu is not available

4. If the handset doesn’t show any network symbol, please try to change the network selection mode from Manual to Automatic     in  Settings >Mobile Data > Network Selection > Turn off the AUTOMATIC toggle to turn on the Manual search Operators

Android

1.  Settings > SIM & Mobile Networks > Advanced Settings > Data Roaming > Turn on Data Roaming/Select “Always”

2. Settings > SIM & Mobile Networks > Turn off VOLTE calls

3. Settings > SIM &   Mobile Networks > Preferred network type > Turn ON 2G/3G/4G (Auto mode) or LTE ON

4. Tools > SIM toolkit/Vi menu/USIM) > Roaming > Select International Roaming and wait for prompt ‘Already On’ and please        accept it. If this doesn't appear, repeat the same steps again *Select the International Roaming option from the SIM tool kit continuously till you get the prompt as “Already On".

Go to next step if “SIM toolkit/Vi menu/USIM” option under menu is not available

5. If the handset doesn’t show any network symbol, please try to change the network selection mode from Manual to Automatic       in  Settings > SIM & Mobile Networks > Mobile Networks > Choose network manually/Network Operators
