Vi prepaid users can now set up Autopay for their Prepaid number or secondary family profiles, enabling auto-recharge after their current pack expiry instead of manually recharging their plan.

Setup Vi Autopay for Prepaid Recharges with One Click:

  1. From the Vi App, select a number and a preferred recharge pack as per requirements (Autopay is applicable on select unlimited packs)
  2. While recharging your number select the UPI option, you can view the ‘Setup Autopay’ checkbox for eligible packs
  3. Select the checkbox & complete the recharge transaction via the selected UPI
  4. After successful recharge, the autopay will be set simultaneously
  5. The Autopay execution will happen when the recharged pack expires

Your Vi Prepaid plan will renew automatically. You can pause/resume /cancel the autopay or change the recharge plan/UPI ID as needed. 

How Does Autopay Work?

  • Once you set up the Vi autopay mandate, it is valid for 5 years unless modified/paused/cancelled.
  • 3-days before the deduction date, you will get an auto-pay execution notification
  • Once you get the notification, you cannot pause/change the autopay setup
  • On day 0, after your pack expiry, the autopay deduction will be done from your registered UPI ID
  • Your Vi recharge pack will renew as per the auto-recharge mandate
  • You can continue using services without running out of recharge balance
