Postpaid plans offer the flexibility to use phone services without pre-loading any credit. With a postpaid plan, you use the included services and then pay a consolidated bill based on usage at the end of the billing cycle. There are different postpaid plans, such as individual plans for a single connection or family postpaid plans for two or more connections. Vi offers a wide variety of individual and family postpaid plans with bulk or unlimited data to suit the needs of varying users.  

Understanding billing and payment options in postpaid plans is essential to manage your expenses effectively. 

  • Billing Cycle:
  • This indicates the period of the bill. The billing cycle usually lasts one month but can vary depending on your postpaid plan. You will receive your bill at the end of this cycle.

  • Bill Breakup:
  • Your bill will include a breakdown of the payable amount, such as one-time charges, usage charges, GST, late payments (if any), etc.

  • Payment Options:  
    1. Online Payments: This is the most convenient and widely used method. Vi users can users can conveniently pay postpaid bills online using Debit/Credit Cards, Net banking, UPI, or e-wallets via the Vi App.
    2. Offline Payments: You can visit any authorized Vi store near you and make the bill payment in person.
    3. Autopay: Vi includes the option to set up automatic payments, where your postpaid bill is automatically deducted from your bank account or UPI each month. This ensures your bills are paid on time so you can avoid late fees.

How to Pay Postpaid Bills Online via the Vi App:

  • Log into the Vi App using your Vi postpaid number
  • From the App home screen click on "Pay Bill"
  • Check details like "Phone number", Amount payable, Bill due date, and bill breakup here
  • Click on "Pay Now" and complete your transaction

Alternately, users can also go to the "My Account" section on the Vi App to view receipts of past bills/payments, and email detailed bill.
